With the very first European Championship for GAA handball set to take place in Italy this November, Vienna Gaels held its opening training session on Friday.
Members of the Gaelic football side joined experienced player Michael Organ for a two-hour outdoor session and there was plenty of promise shown by the novices as the club hope to build a team to enter the tournament at UNESCO World Heritage Site Nizza Monferrato on 20/21 November.
