Multitalented Gaels give hurling a whirl

Vienna Gaels GAA club enters a new era on on Monday 11 July as the very first hurling training session takes place from 21:00-22:00 hrs after Gaelic football training from 20:00-21:00.

The club’s goal for the year is to compete at the Pan-European hurling championship on 10 September in The Hague.

Rob McMahon and Darren Gilbert will lead the training session and encourage as many people as possible to give it a go and see if they like it. Anyone who has played hockey, lacrosse or even golf is welcome to come down and try a new sport.

With that in mind, in July-September there will be a second session each week on Wednesdays from 19:00-20:30 hrs in Wien Atzgersdorf http://www.gaestehaus-atzgersdorf.at/English/Direction.html
